IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ BEFORE USING. This is an Alpha version of Karma. It is experimental software provided for testing and exploration purposes only. By using Karma, you acknowledge that everything in this app - including your balance, your wallet, your reviews, your data, and the app itself - may be modified, reset, or discontinued at any time without warning or liability. Nothing here has real-world monetary value. Nothing is guaranteed.

1. Who We Are

Karma ("we", "us", "our") is an experimental platform for community discovery and cultural recognition. The Karma app, wallet, and protocol are currently in Alpha - meaning they are incomplete, unstable, and subject to change at any time.

2. Alpha Status - What This Means

By using Karma during the Alpha phase, you understand and accept the following without exception:

This is not a finished product. Features may be incomplete, broken, or missing.
All data may be deleted at any time, including your wallet balance, transaction history, review history, nominations, and profile data. This may happen without notice.
The app itself may be shut down at any time, temporarily or permanently, without prior warning.
Karma tokens have no monetary value of any kind. They are internal system points used for testing purposes only. They cannot be exchanged for money, goods, or services.
No data backup or recovery is guaranteed. If data is lost, we are under no obligation to restore it.
The Alpha is invite-only. Access may be revoked at any time.

3. Karma Tokens

Karma tokens ("Karma") are experimental digital points with no financial value whatsoever.
They are not cryptocurrency, currency, securities, or any form of financial instrument.
They cannot be sold, exchanged, transferred outside the app, or redeemed for anything.
Any balance shown in your wallet is for testing purposes only and may be reset to zero at any time.
We make no representations about what Karma tokens will or will not become in any future version of the product.

4. Community Wallets and Claims

Community wallets are created by the Karma team and community members for internal scoring and discovery purposes.
If you claim a community wallet, you represent that you are an authorized representative of that community.
Claiming a wallet does not grant you any ownership of the Karma platform, its infrastructure, or any accumulated token balance in any legal or financial sense.
We reserve the right to reject, revoke, or reassign any wallet claim at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without explanation.

5. Community Suggestions and Reviews

You may suggest communities for inclusion in Karma. Suggestions are subject to review and may be accepted, rejected, or ignored at our discretion.
You may submit reviews of communities. Reviews are used internally to calculate scores and are not disclosed publicly.
You are responsible for ensuring that your suggestions and reviews are honest, in good faith, and do not violate any third party's rights.
You must not submit false, misleading, defamatory, or abusive content.
We reserve the right to remove any suggestion or review without explanation.

6. Your Account

Your account is linked to your Telegram identity.
You are responsible for maintaining control of your Telegram account.
You must not create multiple accounts, share accounts, or attempt to manipulate the system.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without reason.

7. What We Collect

By using Karma, you agree that we may collect and store:

Your Telegram user ID and username
Your in-app activity (reviews, nominations, sends, claims)
Community data you submit or interact with

We do not sell your data. We use it solely to operate the platform during the Alpha phase. As this is an Alpha, our data practices are evolving and will be formalized in a future privacy policy.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Karma may display links to third-party platforms such as Instagram. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party platform.
Clicking external links takes you outside the Karma app. We have no control over external content.

9. No Warranties

The Karma app is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The app will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
Your data will be preserved or recoverable
Any feature will work as described or continue to exist
Karma tokens will have any value now or in the future

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Karma and its team shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or wallet balance
Loss of access to the app
Any reliance placed on content within the app
Any action taken based on Karma scores, reviews, or community information

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to manipulate scores, reviews, or token balances
Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the app or its API
Impersonate another person or community
Harass, abuse, or harm other users

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Given the Alpha nature of the product, changes may be made without individual notification.
